Much Loved and Forever Missed
In the words of Catherine’s Grandsons, Chris and Nick:
Quite simply as good a woman as you could
ever wish to meet, my nan radiated love and
kindness wherever she went, her qualities
were numerous, joyful, caring, compassionate
and loving just to name a few.
In life they talk about the luck of the Irish and
my luck was sure in when I was given such
a wonderful grandmother to cherish and
share many unforgettable memories with.
Her endless ability to create laughter and put
smiles on the faces of those around her is what
made my nan so special. Cliché it may be, but
she really was the best Nan in the entire world,
who accompanied her infectious laughter with
the most addictive of hugs.
Although she may now be gone, I hope we all
can remember my nan for the truly exceptional
woman she was, and I hope she now finds
peace with her loving husband who was an
equally exceptional man to match. May she
rest in eternal happiness and love.
We invite you to join us to celebrate the life of Catherine Philomena Wall

Catherine was such a kind, thoughtful and generous person who loved her family dearly. One could be nothing but impressed by her devotion and tireless care of her beloved sweetheart Bill.
Catherine loved her garden. Within its walls she found such passion, joy and contentment. One story she regaled was about the brick wall she laid. Bill, unable to assist, gave instructions from his seat in the garden and Catherine succeeded in creating an exceptional product that any brick laying tradesperson would praise. Plant in the garden had special significance and Catherine made the garden her haven and escape.
With an eye for colour and detail, Catherine also decorated her home with style and flair. It was a most comfortable and welcoming place.
Catherine loved to laugh, tell great stories, reflect on days past, recount the joys of motherhood and beam with pride over not only her darling girls but also her grandchildren and then great grandchildren.
Catherine’s sense of duty and loyalty was strong as she cared for the elderly in her family.
I shall cherish my memories of her and her sense of fun and hospitality.
Vale Catherine.
