Sadly, John Summerville passed peacefully on 3rd November 2021. He died as he wished, at home surrounded by family and close friends.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his funeral either in person or via the stream on this website.
John will be brought to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, in Kentish Town on the evening of 30th November at 7pm where he will rest overnight.
The funeral mass is on 1st December at 10am. An invitation to the stream will be posted at least 24 hours before the funeral.
Much loved and much missed.

In accordance with CV19 guidelines face masks and safe distancing rules will apply at the funeral Mass.

Always thought of fondly within our family. And even with the passage of time and distance, only good words were spoken of you back in our Tipperary family.

I was very saddened to learn of John’s passing, have very fond memories of him in the Black horse, he was always a perfect gentleman at ease in anybody’s company, friendly ,helpful ,generous and always good company. May John rest in peace.
Uncle John will be truly missed and will be forever in our hearts. It was always a joy to have him home to Ireland, and one of the beautiful memories we will always have was celebrating his 80th birthday in Clonbur surrounded by family and friends
