We want to thank you for joining the celebration of Patsy McGowan’s life. Patsy was one in a million, as we would all say, she was the youngest 80 year old we have ever known. The most glamorous and elegant lady. A pillar of strength with a unique sense of humour, the foundation to our family, loved and admired by everyone that knew her.
Patsy impacted many a life and left her mark. We are certain that you each have your own special memories of Patsy. As we cannot all be together in person today we would love for you to share your own memories. (tribute link below)
Most importantly we are thankful that we were blessed with the best, and our lives are so much richer for having her as our own.
Should anyone like to visit Patsy before her being laid to rest, you can do so on Thursday, 22nd April in the Co- Operative Funeral Director, 15 High Street Harlesden, London , NW10 4NA between 10am – 4pm.

The funeral service will be streamed from St Aiden's at 10.00AM on 23/04/2021 from this site simply click the invitation set out on this site. A recording of the Requiem Mass can be viewed some time after the service concludes.

Ah Pat, I feel like I’ve known you all my life, definitely long enough for you to become my second mammy. You were always so full of love and so much fun; you barely had a cross word for me even when I was being an eegit. I always felt so comfortable with you. I’m laughing now remembering how Uncomfortable you were in front of a camera. When i was a kid I’d ambush you around the house pretending to snap away, just letting the flash go off randomly, and you’d be running one way and then the other jumping and yelling ‘oh jesus!’. I once got up especially early to take a photograph of you and mum asleep on the living room floor after a big night out (but of course i wouldn’t share that here! don’t worry) But this is my favourite pic anyway, the last time I saw you. I just said, ‘none of your carry-on Pat, i just want a nice pic with you’ and you relented, eased into it. You even smiled. I treasure this pic. I treasure every memory I’ve got of you. So long Pat; you’ll always be in my heart. M
Although I didn’t know Patsy personally. I felt I did by listening to all the funny stories Caroline shared with us at work.

Pat , Caroline Sandra and Helena were all such a huge part of me growing up. As we moved away we didnt see so much of each other. Pat has always remained a very fond and firm pillar for me. My Aunty Pat was a special lady and her loss to so many family and friends is very difficult to take. But we all have so many good memories of her to help us through this sad time. Memories of her laughter, zest for life, her glamour, her sharp wit, her kindness, how she loved and cared for her family & friends and how she made the most of her time with us. When my dad Eamon passed away Aunty Pat was a massive help for my mum Anne coping with her loss and was there for her in so many ways. We will always be so grateful for her love, care, compassion and kindness she showed to my mum.

Such a wonderful , generous and kind lady. Such warm memories of her when I was younger spending many a night at the McGowans ; she always had the pan on for a sausage sandwich and a giggle with you . I loved when Pat and Seamus came to visit, because they always brought the promise of fun. And I loved Pat because she had the gift of making everyone she talked to feel listened to and special.
