Tom was one of the six children born to Elizabeth and Thomas Senior in Drumshambo, County Leitrim, Ireland on the 3rd September 1935.
In 1955 Tom emigrated to the USA and in later years he moved to London where he worked as a carpenter. He met his wife Kathleen in 1965. they dated for 3 years & went on to marry in 1968 at St Joseph’s Church in Wembley. A year later they celebrated having their 1st child, Caroline & went on to have 3 more children, Angela, Paul & Janice.
Tom enjoyed frequent trips to Ireland. He was very house proud and enjoyed his garden which was always kept immaculate. Many happy memories were made having countless BBQ’s over the summer months. Most of all Tom loved spending time with his family and played a very active role of grandad to his seven grandchildren who all adored him for his humour and patience. He had a quiet and calm nature and was always there to support and advise friends and family. Tom was a loving and caring husband, to his wife, Kathleen, his children and his grandchildren. He was much loved by his wife, family, and friends. He is deeply missed but will be forever in our hearts, our memories, and our prayers.

My first memory of Tom was when I started dating Angela I would phone up the landline to speak to her and Tom would answer and slam the phone down on me!
I didn’t take it personally and persisted and very soon, once we got to know each other , I really enjoyed Toms company.
A few years later he became my father in law and his decency, stability and generosity was unwavering for the following 30 odd years.
He and Kathleen created a loving and caring environment for their 4 children and their 7 grandchildren that were to follow.
I have seen at close hand the love they all have for him and he leaves this world as a treasured, well loved man who will leave a void in the lives of everyone who knew him.
